Mukul

Born in New Delhi, Mukul Pal has spent the past 25 years developing quantitative investment strategies for active managers across the globe. He began his career at the Bombay Stock Exchange, supporting major Indian financial institutions, before expanding his advisory practice to Europe, where he worked with asset managers and the securities arms of global banks. Holding two master’s degrees—in finance and statistics—he also earned the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. His significant contributions to financial technology have earned him recognition from MIT, and he has been invited to speak at prominent conferences worldwide, including the Princeton–Chicago Quant Conference. He has also played a pivotal role in bringing financial innovations to NASDAQ. Today, he leads a deep tech firm in Toronto, delivering advanced solutions that are designed to deliver alpha.

Mythili Balakrishnan

Mythili has over 19 years of experience in Finance and Markets, primarily in equity research and fund management. Prior to joining Alchemy, she was working with New Mark Capital as midcap analyst. Previously, she has also worked with Motilal Oswal AMC, Avendus PE and JP Morgan in similar roles. Academically, she holds a B.E (Electronics and Communications) degree from Delhi College of Engineering and diploma in management from IIM Ahmedabad. She is a CFA charter holder.

N Balaji Vaidyanath

Mr. Vaidyanath is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Crest Wealth. He has an experience of more than a decade in equity markets first as a research analyst and then as a portfolio manager at Sundaram Asset Management. Nalin Moniz

A graduate of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology from the University of Pennsylvania (USA); with joint degrees in Economics from the Wharton School & Computer Science Engineering from the Moore School, meet the CIO of Alternative Equity at Edelweiss Asset Management – Mr. Nalin Moniz, CFA Nalin was earlier associated with Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager when he thought of starting his own venture in India by the name of Forefront Capital Management, an alternative asset management firm, which was acquired by Edelweiss in 2014. With a decade and a half of financial experience under his belt, he played a pivotal role in Edelweiss’ acquisition of Ambit Capital’s AIF business in 2016. A marathon enthusiast, he has run races in Amsterdam and Berlin in the last two years. When asked his secret to running 42.195 km, he said “You run 1 km 42 times.” At Edelweiss Asset Management, he leads the research and portfolio management for the alternative equity funds across AIF, PMS and offshore platforms in addition to being the fund manager for the Edelweiss Alternative Equity Scheme. He’s also been a Eureka Hedge Indian Hedge Fund of the Year nominee in 2014, 2016 and 2017 and voted as one of the top 40 under 40 professionals in Indian alternative investments

Natraj Sankaranarayan

Natraj joined the DSP Investment Team in November 2023 to build long-only focused equity strategies. He brings over 25 years of investment experience, including 12 years managing India-focused bottom-up strategies, 5 years managing Global Emerging Markets portfolios, 3 years managing GCC strategies, and 2 years managing an ESG fund. He holds a PGDBA (Finance) and a B.Com. degree.

Naveen Baid

Naveen has over 18 years of experience spanning both sell side and buy side roles. He began his career in 2007 as a research analyst in the captive research arm of one of the world’s largest hedge fund DE Shaw. His early career in the sell side at HSBC involved generating investment ideas in the midcap space, for institutional investors. He covered sectors like Real Estate, IT, Media & Entertainment in his early years. Transitioning to Aditya Birla Capital, his role expanded to cover more wider range of sectors like Autos, Auto Ancillaries, Healthcare, Pharma, Building Materials & Age businesses. During his 11 year stint at Aditya Birla Capital, he led a research team of New 7 analysts and was part of the investment committee, which oversaw investment in two PMS schemes. Naveen’s core strength lies in deciphering intelligence and analytics out of large quantitative data sets and using that to combine top-down and bottom-up style of best of both the investing, making the worlds. At Nuvama, he is responsible for managing the Nuvama Absolute Return Strategy [NARS], and Nuvama Equities eXpansion Target strategy [NEXT] PMS as part of the Listed Equities vertical within Nuvama Asset Management. Naveen has a background in commerce and holds a masters in finance from ICFAI, Hyderabad. He is also a CFA charterholder

Naveen Chandramohan

Mr. Naveen Chandramohan: Naveen Chandramohan, founder of Itus Capital, has 20 years of professional experience. He began his career at Lehman Brothers in Tokyo, specializing in Equity Origination and Capital Markets. He later served as Head of ex-Japan (Asia) Trading at NOMURA in Hong Kong. Prior to founding Itus Capital, Naveen spent 7.5 years as a fund manager investing in Indian markets, based out of Hong Kong. In his most recent role before establishing Itus, he was the Responsible Officer for Hutchin Hill, overseeing their Hong Kong office.Naveen has a strong track record of managing money in the Indian markets over the last 15 years. He was awarded the best fund manager award for 3 years in a row by Asia hedge, between 2012-14. His India fund delivered a 23% IRR over the 7 years he managed money.At Itus, Naveen has a strong track record of managing the multi-cap fund delivering a 18.1% IRR over 8 years. Mr. Naveen has also Co-authored a research paper published in the Journal for Networking and Communication (Nokia-sponsored project) and has designed a MEMS-based micro-robot during his undergrad. Naveen Kulkarni

Naveen has over 17 years of experience in the financial services and telecom sectors. He is a CFA and FRM holder. Naveen is a frequent contributor to numerous financial media, including CNBC TV 18, ET Now and The Economic Times. He has been voted consistently amongst the top research analyst for telecom, consumer and strategy in various surveys conducted by Asian Money, Institutional Investors. His team was rated among the top 3 most improved brokerages by Asia Money survey 2016 and 2017.

Neelesh Dhamnaskar

Neelesh has over 17 years’ experience in equity markets and financial services domain. Before joining the PMS division of Invesco, Neelesh was managing few equity funds, overseas fund of fund schemes of Invesco Mutual Fund as well as tracking few sectors as an analyst. He was previously working with Enam(now a part of Axis Bank) where he was tracking companies across sectors and assisting the PMS Fund Manager in his investment decisions. Prior to this, he was working with KRC, a domestic broking house in equity research and has also worked with Anand Rathi Securities Limited as a Commodities Research Analyst. Neelesh holds a Commerce degree and an MMS degree with specialization in Finance from Mumbai University
